Pathway 01

You have been a Project Manager for years...but nobody told you.

“Everyone relies on me to get things done, but I don’t have the terminology to confidently portray myself as the Project Manager”

Pathway 01 is designed for the editor, the operations lead, the head of comms who has been running complex projects for years...but without ever being given the job title, the training or the language.

The problem & the solution

What is actually going wrong, and what changes

Right now
  • No formal training, so you have to learn as you go
  • You know what you do, but you can’t really explain the value to a third party
  • Everyone relies on you to run the project, but no one knows quite how much pressure that puts on you
What the programme gives you
  • A clear practical Project Management structure & framework
  • The core tools Project Managers actually use, without the jargon
  • The language to confidently explain years of running things & the value you bring

You will stop calling it “just how I organise things” & start being able to name it, evidence it & charge for it.

Questions

The things people ask before they book

Is the course right for me if I am already a Project Manager?
Yes. The upskilling track will help you learn faster, take on bigger projects & get the recognition you deserve.
Is the course right for me if I am not yet a Project Manager?
Most people run projects regardless of the job title. We help people pivot into Project Management, & accidental Project Managers who simply want to be better in the role they already have.
I do not know if I have time.
It is 3.5 hours a week, designed around a full workload. The weekly call is booked into a slot you choose for the whole programme.
Do I need any previous qualifications?
No. Real world experience & a desire to do things better is the entry requirement.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. It can be used to discharge formal CPD requirements with the relevant professional bodies.
Can my employer pay?
Absolutely. We provide invoices to help with internal approvals, & a sponsorship overview you can forward.
“I am already seeing roles that are not editorial that I think, having completed this course, I can excel in.”
