Why BuiltWell exists
Project Management is a people profession
If Project Management is a people profession, why do we spend so little time teaching people how humans actually work? Projects go wrong because of people & they are fixed by people, not by technology or process. Everything I teach gets filtered through that.
I started BuiltWell in 2023 because I kept meeting brilliant people who had been handed complex projects & no support. Some of them had the title. Most of them did not. All of them were firefighting, & most of them were quietly wondering whether they were any good at it.
So the programme does 3 things at once. It gives you the technical Project Management tools. It works on how you lead & how you are seen. And it treats wellbeing as part of delivery rather than something that sits politely alongside it. Students never come for that third part; it is the part they talk about afterwards.
